Driver regulations
GENERAL GUIDELINES
These guidelines are typically communicated to drivers during the pre-event briefing, conducted in the presence of track officials and judges. Typically, there are three judges assigned to oversee specific sections of the track or criteria for each run, as agreed upon beforehand.
Judges work closely with track officials to supervise and monitor track activity.
TRACK RULES
Engaging in drifting beyond the designated area and warm-up zone is not allowed. Failure to comply will result in penalties for the driver. A starting flag will be employed to initiate the start procedure.
QUALIFICATION RUN
To participate in Tandem battles, every driver must first qualify. Each driver undergoes two qualification runs, which are then scored. The rankings on the leaderboard are determined by the higher score obtained from these two runs. In the event of multiple drivers achieving the same score, the total sum of points from both runs will be used to determine their position.
If a driver commits any of the following mistakes during the qualification run, it may be deemed incomplete and scored as 0 points:
- Spinning out
- Opposite drift(drifting with the opposite angle required at that point on course)
- Hood, hatch, roof, trunk and/or doors opening during a run
- Straightening or major corrections
- A mix of multiple mistakes that could be classified as an “Unchaseable Lead”
